Procurement for Suriname’s main oil and gas projects
Project context checked: 1 October 2026. Match your enquiry to the operator, contractor package and project specification. The following companies are relevant market participants, not a list of our customers.
- TotalEnergies, APA Corporation and Staatsolie — GranMorgu, Block 58: TotalEnergies operates the development, with interests of 40%, 40% and 20% respectively. First oil is planned for 2028. Procurement enquiries may cover workshop equipment, personnel protection, identification and offshore support supplies.
- PETRONAS — Block 52: active oil and gas appraisal and development planning, including the Sloanea gas discovery. PETRONAS reported further discoveries and appraisal success in June 2026. Specify the project phase and the exact maintenance or site-support package.
- Chevron, Shell and QatarEnergy: additional offshore exploration participants. Staatsolie’s 2025 review identifies Chevron activity in Block 5, Shell in Block 65 and QatarEnergy participation alongside PETRONAS, Chevron and Paradise Oil Company in the new Blocks 9 and 10 arrangements.
- Staatsolie and Paradise Oil Company: national-sector counterparts and project participants. Identify whether the request concerns an onshore operation, an offshore contractor or a specific project company.
For an RFQ, include the end-user specification, approved-vendor requirements where applicable, required certificates, inspection scope, delivery point and schedule.
